I genuinely can't imagine going anywhere else for pots and plants! Not only is this my go-to spot for new plants, but I also bring my older ones in for checkups, repotting, and advice whenever they need a little extra help (which is more often than I'd like to admit). The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to answer questions. But, what makes Sun & Soil so special to me is the community they've built. Their workshops and events keep me coming back again and again. I have actually ended up meeting some of my very best friends through their classes. This place is one of my top recommendations in Greenville, whether you live here or are just passing through.

I hate to give a 1 star review for a small business, but after spending hundreds of dollars over the past year on new plants and pots, all but two plants died. After we noticed first signs of plant deterioration, we started to repot the cactus and rubber tree and noticed mistakes were made when plants were potted at the store. Wrong soil, no root ball loosening and the plants were either burried way too deep or too shallow… I have no insights on where the store gets their plants from, but it appears the store already receives them in a sub-par condition. It’s the store’s responsibility to do some sort of quality check on new plants. For the rubber tree specifically, I contacted the owner of the store multiple times and showed her pictures of the deteriorating plant. The advice was always the same: leaves falling off at the bottom is normal and suggested to wait with the watering until the first 2-3 inches of soil are dry. Nothing of that helped … My wife and I are passionate hobby gardeners (owner of a SC certified wildlife habitat) and have years of experience with indoor plants as well. I am not saying we are experts but by no means are we beginners or inexperienced when it co

Such a great plant store! Everything is super healthy and reasonably priced. I came in to do a terrarium build and the experience was great - Josie was so kind and helpful!

Our first visit was for Mother’s Day and it was wonderful! Josie was so kind and helpful, she never stopped moving the whole time we were there. The cleanest plant shop I’ve ever visited. We made a terrarium and loved the options that were available for vessels and plants. The Prop Swap station was one of my favorite parts and I can’t wait to come back to bring cutting to trade.

What a ray of sunshine this place is! You walk in and it's floor-to-ceiling wonderland. It's not a huge space, but they definitely make the most of it with an interesting and carefully curated mix of plants. I purchased a pink lemon (pictured) and they repotted it for me on the house β€” what amazing service! One of the co-owners was so pleasant and even took the time to look at photos of my plants at home when I needed some advice. They are reasonably priced, and with perks like a loyalty program, you're really getting great value in the long run. Supporting a young, local, women-owned business that has become a fun staple in the Greenville community is absolutely worth it in itself. And it's so much more than just a place to buy a fern β€” they have a plant library where you can swap cuttings, a terrarium bar, and they host fun events like happy hour and plant bingo. I didn't spot a single brown leaf in the place; every plant looked loved and well cared for, which speaks volumes about how passionate they are. If you're a plant lover in the Upstate, Sun and Soil Plant Parlor is a must-visit. They're bringing a little extra joy and greenery to the area, and that deserves all the suppor
